Don't just lay out your wonderful memories on some pieces of scrapbook paper! Make your scrapbook fun and entertaining to the eye with picture borders!

From Quick Guide: Scrapbooking 101
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Craft paper with different themes and colors
  • Yarns
  • Glitter
  • Scrapbooking scissors with different cutting designs
  • Stickers
  • Die cuts
  • Stamps and different color stamp pads
  • Buttons
  • Craft diamonds
  • Craft accessories that suit your theme
  • Adhesive
  1. Step 1

Cut some of your pictures with your cool scrapbooking scissors. Cut some just around the border and others into circles, triangles and all types of shapes, being very careful not to cut out the main focus of the picture. At this point you can also cut some of the craft paper into shapes big enough to see when placed behind a picture.

  2. Step 2

Cut strands of yarn with regular scissors and place out all your craft accessories such as glitter, buttons, craft diamonds, etc., by color that match the page in your scrapbook, or you can be wild and mismatch all.

  3. Step 3

Use different die cut shapes to make cut borders on craft paper. Lay out the craft papers that you've cut with the scrapbooking scissors and die cuts and place pictures on top of them. You can also lay out some yarn to border other pictures and basically border all your pictures with any of the accessories mentioned in the "Things You'll Need" Section above.

  4. Step 4

After you have placed out your crafts and pictures, if you like it, Start Gluing! Have fun!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also border your pictures with souveniors from the events in your pictures.
