Things You'll Need:
- Towel
- Ice pack

Step 1
Wrap the ice pack with a towel and place on your abdomen. Apply ice on the area for 30 minutes.

Stop the icing for about 15 minutes to allow the skin to get warm. Repeat the icing and warming cycle again 2 to 3 times.

Take some medication for pain, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Avoid strenuous activities and be cautious with your body positions as you move.

Drink plenty of fluids and add fiber to your diet.
