How to Homeschool Many Children at Once
-
1
Consider a Unit Study. Unit Studies combine many subjects, making the teaching and the learning all incluseive. Usually Unit Studies combine all the subjects except for Math and Phonics. You would need to teach each child individually for those subjects.
-
2
Using a divided notebook, break the sections up into one for each child, and one for your Unit Study. This will enable you to keep track of what you do with each child on a daily basis. The Unit Study section will be where you keep track of all your lessons, activities, and field trips. Keeping good records of what you do will help you with the record keeping you must report to your school district with.

3
Divide your time on a written schedule, much as schools do when planning. A bell rings to signal a change of class, but this is a situation where you will have to use your own judgment and discipline when determining the "end" of certain classes.
-
4
Use mornings to work on individual subjects, such as Math and Phonics, and afternoons for Unit Study work or activities works well. Split up your day to fit your own family's needs will help you fit everything in.
-
5
Try to encourage older kids to work with younger kids on projects. This will add the benefit of giving you more time, and helping them learn to work together and create a healthy sibling relationship.

Tips & Warnings
If you try to make learning together a fun time, the learning experience will make them want to learn more. Doing a Unit Study as a family can be a great way for everyone to have fun learning together.
Be sure to include physical fitness in your curriculum. Have a time to go for a walk together as a group, or play outside in an active game.
Never make your home into a school! The home should still be a place of sanctuary.
Don't forget that you should allow plenty of recess time so children don't get overwhelmed with home study.
