    How to Charge a Canon XH A1 Battery with Outlet Power

  1. Step 1

    Turn the power dial to off and push the open switch on the battery compartment cover.

  2. Step 2

    Attach the DC coupler to the camcorder by sliding it all the way into the battery compartment until it clicks.

  3. Step 3

    Connect the power cord to the power adapter and plug the adapter's cord into a wall outlet.

  4. Step 4

    Plug the DC coupler into the adapter.

  5. Step 5

    Pass the cable through the slot and close the battery compartment's cover.
