How to Set Weight Loss Goals on The Daily Plate
The Daily Plate is a website devoted to helping people lose weight and eat healthy. They provide members with several tools to help keep them motivated, including a wonderful support system complete with forums and message boards. The Daily Plate also makes it easy to track everything by giving members access to a food diary that even counts calories. Members can also chart their weight-loss progress. Here, we're going to discuss how to set your weight-loss goals on The Daily Plate.

Login to your account at www.thedailyplate.com. If you do not have an account, you can create one.

Click the small yellow button named "Gold" on the navigation bar that runs along the top of the page.

Choose the link titled "Weight-loss goal tracking" from the Gold Member Central menu.

Enter your starting weight and target weight. Your starting weight will be your current weight. Click on the link titled "Update my starting weight".

Type in your target weight into the first field, and choose the type of weight measurement you prefer (pounds, stone, or kilograms).

Place your current (starting) weight, again making sure to choose the appropriate type of weight measurement.

Click "Save". You have set your goals, and the race has now begun.

Tips & Warnings
Remember the Weight Loss Goals is not available to those with a free membership; it is only available to those with the Gold membership.
