It may be easier to put what you'd like into the basket, but it's not as effective.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

How to Make a Get Well Basket For Home

  1. Step 1

Obtain a gift basket, handled or not, or, you might want to consider another type of container . Choose a basket or container that's roomy enough for all of the items you intend to place inside of it.

  2. Step 2

Base of Basket: You can line the base of the basket with newspaper if you want. Something whimsical would be tabloid magazines. The other alternative is the standard tissue paper or rafia. If you have a little bit more money to spread around, you can use a pretty bath robe for a woman, or a man's robe or a towel waist wrap (the kind with velcro) if the giftee is male. You could also use a bed jacket, geared for either a man or woman.

  3. Step 3

Place items on the "base." To gather ideas for items, please refer to the "Tips" section below.

  4. Step 4

Once you've arranged the items, place the basket on top of a large piece of tulle or cellophane and pull up the sides and tie at the top. This is an optional step, but it will hold the items together.

Tips & Warnings
