How to Cook Sour Cream Potato Pancakes

Potato Pancakes can be a favorite for dinner. Served with butter and sour cream and garnished with parsley flakes, it is a great meal.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Frying pan
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Large bowl
  • 5-6 large potatoes
  • 1-2 cups of flour
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • Blender or food processor
  • 1-2 cups of sour sream
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Serving Platter

    Potato Pancakes with Butter and Sour Cream

  1. Step 1

    Cut potatoes in small pieces, and grate in Blender or Food Processor.

  2. Step 2

    Pour grated potatoes into a large bowl. Add flour a little at a time until semi-thick, but pourable.

  3. Step 3

    Add salt. Mix well.

  4. Step 4

    Put oil in frying pan and when oil is hot, put a large spoonful of potato mixture in and fry until crispy, turn; and repeat. Cook until potato pancakes are light brown and crispy on both sides.

  5. Step 5

    Place on serving platter and cool until comfortable to touch. Cut or break into pieces and mix with sour cream and butter.
