Step 1
Determine what type of ab workout you’ll be performing. Some workouts, like Shaun T’s Tilt, Tuck & Tighten technique, involve working on your abs through dance, rather concentrating on floor exercises. A workout such as this may affect the type of clothes and shoes you decide to wear.

Choose comfortable active wear with elastic or spandex material. Women will want to wear a sports bra. Clothes that show your abs may also be helpful to determine whether you are doing the exercises correctly.

To finish your outfit, select a light-weight, comfortable shoe with cushioning and a rubber outsole to provide good traction on different surfaces.
