This pore-tightening, oil-dissolving mask is made with a few simple ingredients. Green clay touts many healing properties and aloe vera and jojoba oil are fantastic, fast-absorbing moisturizers that leave no oily residue. In just a few steps, you will have a fabulous healing homemade facial!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 tbsp. of green or bentonite clay
  • 1 tsp. of aloe vera gel or juice
  • 1/2 tsp. of jojoba oil
  • 1 drop of bergamot, grapefruit or lemon essential oil
  • 1 drop of lavender essential oil
  • Water (enough to make a paste)
  1. Step 1

Combine clay, aloe vera, jojoba oil and water together to make a paste.

  2. Step 2

Add one drop of your chosen essential oil plus one drop of lavender oil. Mix paste.

  3. Step 3

Apply to face. Leave mask on 5 to 10 minutes for delicate skin and 15 to 20 minutes for normal skin. Clay will harden a bit, which is normal.

  4. Step 4

Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

Tips & Warnings
  • Feel free to experiment with different essential oils.
  • Don't use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
