Instructions

    • 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    • 2

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.

    • 3

Unwrap the candy bar(s) and chop them with the grain of the filling. Set aside.

    • 4

Beat together the butter and both types of sugar. When combined, add the vanilla and eggs and mix thoroughly.

    • 5

Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped Butterfinger bars, including any dust-like shavings that resulted from the chopping process.

    • 6

Drop in rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet. For thinner cookies, lightly press down the dough, spreading it out.

    • 7

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown. Removing the cookies before they have browned completely will result in your cookies staying softer for longer. Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack.

Tips & Warnings

  • Like many cookies, these are especially delicious when enjoyed with milk.

  • Butterfinger candy bars can be difficult to chop, especially if you attempt to go against the grain. Be careful not to let the knife slip or to put too much power into the motion or you can risk cutting yourself.
