Halo has taken the entire world by storm. You can play it on your Xbox 360 in campaign mode or on the internet in multiplayer games featuring 1 on 1, teams or free for all mass combat. Playing Halo is an incredibly fun game - unless you're constantly being slaughtered! If other players are taunting you constantly then you might be a noob - a new player.Following is a list of some very "noob" things - take them to heart and correct your in-game etiquette to no longer be taunted as a noob but be feared as a pro.

Thinking that falling from high places will kill you. In Halo gravity is more of a notion than a reason to die. Falling from high places will not kill you but will get you out of harms way.

The tank cannot stop the train in Halo. Many new players like to try it - if anyone asks or taunts you simply tell them that you think it looks cool.

Playing campaign mode is nothing like playing in online multiplayer battles. Referencing the "real" game in comparison often leads wisened players to point you out as being new.

The rocket launcher is not a guided missile so stop, stand still and take aim.

When someone talks about the "noob combo" laugh at it. The noon combo is a means for players who have been around to easily pick out the new ones and try to make them look silly.

Sticky Grenades do not bounce - they are thrown then adhere to surfaces with a short timer to set a sort of booby trap. You can kill yourself if you're not careful.

Learn the "crouch-jump" maneuver right away. New players often watch on as experienced players look like they're flying all over the screen but you can't seem to get up on a rock and fall just short.

Voice masking was created to add a fun element to the game. In most instances young players will use it to make them sound older - experienced players don't need to sound older, they just need to be able to play well.

Keep your gamertag short and sweet. Too many numbers is a sure sign you are a new player.
