How to Cross Items off your Bucket List

Life is a gift that too many take for granted. Have a list of things you want to do before you "kick the bucket?" Use the steps below to cross things off your Bucket List.

      Review your Bucket List and choose the top three things you want to cross off first. If they are larger goals, such as start a family, pick the next top item.

      Put each goal on a separate sheet of paper. On one side, write why you want to achieve this goal and how important it is to you. On the other side, make a list of steps necessary to achieve your goal.

      Set a time line to the steps you created in Step 2. Realistically, the range should be six weeks to two years. Don't get discouraged if your goal will take longer.

      Pick smaller goals from your Bucket List that may be easier to achieve. Do these items and gain confidence in crossing things off your Bucket List. Such goals that are easier to cross off may be things like: go to the movies by yourself or learn to make cheesecake.

      Start with the first step of your top goals once you have more confidence.
