Power yoga is becoming more and more popular everyday and certified power yoga instructors are in demand. The list of benefits of a power yoga class is endless and include increased in strength, stamina, and flexibility, decreased tension and increased ability to concentrate. Imagine doing what you love everyday and helping others learn to value power yoga as much as you do.

    Become familiar with power yoga by taking classes at a local studio, gym, or community center. Taking classes is an outstanding way to learn and practice moves.

  2. Step 2

    Purchase power yoga DVDs, videos and books to guide your power yoga practice.

  3. Step 3

    List your career goals with regards to becoming a power yoga instructor. Do you want to run your own studio? Do you want to work for a gym or studio? Is this something you want to do to supplement your income? Or do you want to dedicate your career to yoga?

  4. Step 4

    Begin to investigate the different types of certifications and workshops available. There is a plethora of information on the Internet.

  5. Step 5

    Contact yoga studios and gyms. Research and find out what type of certification and/or workshop is best and which one closely matches your career goals.

  6. Step 6

    Sign up for a yoga workshop or certification program. Complete the program.
