Stuck inside on a rainy day? Make some animals out of puff paints to keep the kids entertained.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 tbsp. of self-rising flour
  • 1 tbsp. of salt
  • Food coloring
  • Water
  • Cardboard
  • Paint brushes
  • Microwave

Instructions

    • 1

      In a bowl, mix flour, a few drops of food coloring and salt. Use a different bowl for each color.

    • 2

      Add water to the bowls to make your mixture nice and smooth.

    • 3

      Use a different paintbrush for each color and paint your animals on a piece of cardboard. White cardboard looks the best.

    • 4

      Microwave the cardboard for 10 to 30 seconds until the puff paint is completely dry.
