How to PvP with a Druid in World of Warcraft
Druids are wonderful player versus player choices for both battlegrounds and arenas. However, you will play a druid in completely different ways depending on your specialization.

Playing a Restoration Druid
-
1
A restoration druid is a healer with a touch of crowd control. Your best spells are your heal-over-time spells which you can cast on a number of people in a short amount of time. Be sure to keep track of which players have spells cast on them and which need them. The trick of playing a restoration druid is not to let your party members' health get too low since your healing spells take time to work.

2
If you are targeted, remember that you can switch to travel form and run away. Cast Nature's Grasp on yourself to root someone and then flee. Also, remember that switching forms will break some spells that impair movement such as Frost Trap.

3
Use Cyclone and Entangling Roots for crowd control. Cyclone healers and damage-per-second spell casters. Use Entangling Roots on warriors and rogues. Remember, too, that you can use your Hibernate spell to put a hunter's pet to sleep.
Playing a Feral Druid
-
4
Feral druids are extremely dangerous in PvP. Cat form is the most useful as its pounce and damage-over-time abilities make it an efficient killer. Stealth towards an enemy and then pounce to stun them. If you have decent gear, you may be able to do a lethal amount of damage to them before they regain consciousness.
-
5
Bear form, while useful, is only efficient in large groups. Although Mangle can do a significant amount of damage, most skilled PvP players do not feel threatened by a bear's damage. However, if you can distract one player from your allies, you armor and hit points will make you a great damage sponge. Remember to use Frenzied Regeneration and Feral Charge casters for a quick counter spell.
-
6
In PvP, bear form is most useful as a distraction for mages and warlocks. You won't do enough damage to kill most players, but you can continually interrupt casters with your Feral Charge and damage-over-time abilities like Lacerate.
-
7
Always remember that changing forms will remove movement impairments.
Playing a Balance Druid
-
8
Balance druids are the least effective specialization for PvP. Although they have decent damage-per-second, they are less powerful than most other spell casting classes.
-
9
Force of Nature is your best spell for PvP since it creates a number of targets that can distract pets and other players. This spell combined with your crowd control spells can lead to a number of kills.
-
10
Moonkin form is also a great way to increase your armor if you are targeted. It adds slight spell casting benefits to other spell casters, and it will regenerate some mana if you enter hand to hand combat.

Tips & Warnings
Practice with your specialization in battlegrounds and arenas.
Be sure you have appropriate gear for your specialization.
Do not try to play a role outside your specialization at higher levels because you will be significantly outclassed.
