Anyone who knows the term "Leykis 101" knows about radio personality Tom Leykis and his male-oriented talk show where America gets together to talk about the things you really care about. It's a different kind of radio talk program. Indeed, it espouses Leykis' opinions on dating, women, politics, investing, wine, relationships, marriage, sports and anything else that interests him. "Leykis 101" is his "on-air adult education program that teaches men how to get more tail for less money" and "teaches women how men think." It airs Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific time. It's by far his most popular segment, but to be a true 101 student, you must listen to Leykis as much as possible. He's on live from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific time.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Radio
  • Computer with high-speed online connection
  1. Step 1

Find "The Tom Leykis Show" in your local radio market. Because of the nature of the program, it's not as widely syndicated as shows hosted by Rush Limbaugh, Don Imus and Laura Schlesinger. However, it's on in Los Angeles, San Diego, Tucson, Ariz., Seattle, Portland, Ore., Dallas, Las Vegas and Albany, N.Y. It airs taped on the weekend in Wichita, Kan. Check with the radio station to see if the show airs live or on tape.

  2. Step 2

If the show is not in your market, listen online (see Resources), the show's official website. Click on the "Listen Live" button in the upper right corner of the home page between 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific time (the first hour is replayed from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific time).

  3. Step 3

Listen often to learn what a Leykis 101 student does. For example, never spend more than $40 on a date, treat women like a jerk would, don't date single mothers, use condoms every time, don't move in with a woman, don't date a woman more than three times if she doesn't give you what you want, don't get married and if you do, make sure you've achieved all career goals first.

  4. Step 4

Don't miss the "Leykis 101" segment on Thursdays.
