Learn to use Google's calculator and conversion features.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Mouse
  • Internet access
  • Web browser
  1. Step 1

    Enter the conversion you'd like done in the Google search box and hit "Enter" on your keyboard. It's that simple.

  2. Step 2

    Google converts currency. Example: type in >6.50 USD in GBP.

  3. Step 3

    Google converts measurements. Example: type in > half a cup in teaspoons.

  4. Step 4

    Google converts units. Example: type in > 5 kilometers in miles.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the calculation you'd like done in the Google search box and hit enter on your keyboard. It's that simple. Some examples: 5 * 2 or 6 + 8 - 3.
