Now that the pinata is decorated it is time to fill the pinata. You can allow your child to put in the treats or keep them a surprise. Once you have added the treats, staple the top of the bag closed. Put the staples one after another so that the pinata is successfully sealed.

In this step, you will have your child decorate the bottom of the bag. Cut streamers of various colors and at various lengths, from 10 inches to 20 inches. Using the glue stick, make a line of glue following the top edge of the bag. Press the end of streamers all the way across the bottom so that the whole line of glue is covered with streamers. Now start another row of glue directly below the line of streamers. Continue to make row after row of streamers. Try flipping the bag over after you have done half of the bottom and then continue the same process on the other side until the whole bottom is covered with streamers.

Once the glue has dried you have a fabulous, inexpensive pinata for all your child's family and friends to enjoy. Hang the pinata on a piece of twine or string and let the children hit away.
