  • "Tasting Club" by Dina Cheney
  1. Step 1

Choose a date to invite friends over for a tasting party.

  2. Step 2

Purchase or borrow "Tasting Club" by Dina Cheney. This will be your guidebook for the big night.

  3. Step 3

Pick a menu from the book. Depending on how intricate you want to party to be, you could have up to three different tastings--wine, cheese and chocolate.

  4. Step 4

Know that the wine tasting can be going on continuously throughout the meal. The cheese tasting can be a part of the appetizers, while the chocolate tasting can be dessert.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try other tastings not featured in the book, such as, ribs, jerkey, wings, olive oil, olives, bread or cheesecake. This is a great idea if you are undecided for a menu for an event or wedding. Test the prospects on your friends and family.
  • Make sure your guests have a safe ride home.
