How to Remove Gum from a Shirt
Step1
After removing the shirt place it in the freezer. This will help harden the gum so that it is no longer sticky. You will need to leave the shirt in the freezer for several hours to allow the gum to get as hard as possible.
Step2
When the gum has become hard remove it from the freezer and use a butter knife from your kitchen to remove the gum from the shirt. With the serrated edge gently pry the gum from the shirt. In most cases it will come off with little force.
Step3
As the gum begins to warm back up to room temperature it will start to become sticky and harder to handle so use a piece of ice to keep the gum cold. This will also help with the removal of any pieces that are still stuck to the clothing after you have completed step 2.
