Slowly move into Table Top Pose, making sure that the wrists are in line with the shoulders and the knees are in line with the hips.

    • 2

Drop the elbows to the floor, keeping them in line with the shoulders, and clasp the hands together in front of you, making a tripod.

    • 3

Gently bring the head down to rest between the fingers, letting the thumbs relax on the back of the head.

    • 4

Curl the toes under and lift the hips toward the sky, straightening out the legs so the body makes an inverted V and the back becomes straight.

    • 5

Draw the legs up until they are vertical and the soles of the feet are facing the sky. At the same time, press your weight into the tripod while pulling in the naval, adjusting the core to find the balance in the pose.

    • 6

Separate the legs, stretching them out into a V until the soles of the feet face opposite walls.

    • 7

Draw the legs back together and slowly bring them down until the feet touch the ground and the toes are again curled under.

    • 8

Move into a resting pose, such as child.
