Things You'll Need:
- Anti-bacterial wipes
- Soap or facial cleanser
-
Step 1
Wash your hands. It's always important to have clean hands, but if you're working on your skin or applying makeup it's very important. If you are applying makeup with dirty hands, this may spread bacteria to your face, and that's a bad thing. Bacteria may lead to breakouts, and no one likes those.
-
Step 2
Start with a clean face. You'll want to wash your face before you apply the 3 D makeup. Once you've washed your face, towel dry it and just relax for a few minutes.
-
Step 3
If you use moisturizer, go ahead and apply that now. Wait a few minutes for the moisturizer to soak in.
-
Step 4
Once your moisturizer has been absorbed, take out your anti-bacterial wipes. You're going to wipe the area that you're working on. For example, if you're doing a bruise on your cheek, then wipe down your cheek area. The alcohol in the wipes will remove any oils from your skin. It will also get rid of germs and provide a dry area to apply the 3D makeup. It's important to use these wipes sparingly since they do contain alcohol, and they can aggravate sensitive skin if they are used excessively.
-
Step 5
After you've wiped off the area, wait a few minutes and allow the area to completely dry. After a couple of minutes have passed, lightly tap the area with a finger to make sure it is dry. It is important to not tap excessively because your hands do have oils on them, and you don't want those oils on your face. If it's still damp, wait a few more minutes and check it again. If it is dry, you're ready to begin applying your 3D makeup.
