Instead of parking your car close to the grocery store, park at the end of the aisle. If you take the train or bus, just get off a few exits before your exit and walk the rest of the way. You can also bring an extra pair of shoes to change into when you get to work.

Start eating five meals a day instead of your typical three. If you like large meals eat a large breakfast and eat less throughout the day at one time. Your metabolism will continue working throughout the day as long as you eat five small meals a day.

If you work at a desk then there are a few ab workouts such as “working your core”. Sit up straight and hold your muscles in while breathing. Do this throughout the day and you will strengthen your transverse muscles.

Drinking water throughout the day benefits your body in several ways. Try to drink water as soon as you get up. Switching from coffee to green tea will also help get rid of your beer gut. All of these small changes will have a large effect on your beer gut.
