  1. Step 1

    In order to hide scratches on your car, you must identify the color code of your vehicle. Once you find the color code, this will enable you to choose a paint pen which matches the color of your car.

  2. Step 2

    To find the paint color code on your car, you must locate the sticker which contains your color code. Usually, this sticker can be found in one of the following places: in your trunk under your spare tire, under the hood on the firewall of your car, or on the driver's side door jamb. When you find it, write the color code down.

  3. Step 3

    Go to your local automotive center or shop online for a paint pen that matches your color code and a clear-coat paint pen.

  4. Step 4
    Use wax and grease remover on the scratch.

    Clean the exterior of your car thoroughly and use a wax and grease remover on the area that contains the scratch.
