How to Insert a Tape in a Canon XH A1

The Canon XH A1 camcorder uses MiniDV videocassettes for recording. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to insert a tape.

1. Slide the "Open/Eject" switch to open the cassette compartment cover. You'll find the switch on the cassette compartment door.

2. Load the cassette. Put it straight in, with the window facing out.

3. Close the cassette compartment by pressing on the "Push" mark on the door cover.

4. Ensure that the cover is closed, and start recording!
