How to Change your Screen Name on America Online

This article will show you how to change your screen name in AOL 9.0 and earlier versions.

• An AOL account
• Computer with an Internet connection

1. Click the "AOL" logo in the system tray. Click on "AOL 9.0," "AOL 9.0 Settings." For older versions of AOL, skip to Step 4.

2. View the list of options. Click on "Screen Names."

3. View the screen with different options for creating and deleting screen names. Up to seven names are allowed per user account.

4. Know that for earlier versions, log in to AOL as usual, then choose "Account Settings," "Screen Name." This will bring you to a similar menu with options to add, delete or remove a screen name.
