How to Make a Spicy Omelet

Omelets are perhaps the most beloved food to have for breakfast. Not only do omelets taste delicious, they are also an incredibly diverse meal. You have almost an unlimited amount of options when it comes to what kind of omelet you want to eat and the following step by step recipe will tell you everything you need to know and do to make a spicy omelet to start your day off with a little kick.

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 habanero
  • hot sauce
  • diced ham
  • skillet
  • cooking spray
  • cheddar cheese
  1. Step 1

    Crack 3 eggs over a bowl and whip until thoroughly mixed.

  2. Step 2

    Add ground black pepper and seasoned salt.

  3. Step 3

    Add 3 drops of hot sauce and stir, then set aside.

  4. Step 4

    Warm skillet on medium heat and add cooking spray

  5. Step 5

    Dice 1 whole habanero and dump in with eggs and stir.

  6. Step 6

    Wash hands thoroughly.

  7. Step 7

    Dump diced ham into skillet and let brown.

  8. Step 8

    Add the contents of the bowl to the skillet.

  9. Step 9

    As eggs begin to stiffen, flip half of it over onto itself and continue to let cook.

  10. Step 10

    Top with cheddar cheese and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can easily replace ham with any other meat, such as sausage.
  • Make sure you wash your hands after dicing the habanero, otherwise if you touch your face or other sensitive areas it can burn.
