The best thing about cooking chili in your crock pot is the quick clean up. The crock pot just wipes clean. You can also set up your chili recipe ahead of time and then just serve when your dinner guests arrive. Get out your crock pot and let's have one of the best tasting chili dinners of all time.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 can of kidney beans
  • 1 large can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 small onion
  • 5 Shakes of Chili powder
  • 5 Shakes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 Shakes of Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 coffee scoop of Sugar
  • Crock Pot
  • Frying Pan
  1. Step 1

Cook your ground beef until fully cooked. Place in your crock pot.

  2. Step 2

Cook your onions and place in your crock pot.

  3. Step 3

Add the following ingredients to the crock pot: crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, kidney beans, red peppers, sugar, and chili powder. Mix until well blended.

  4. Step 4

Turn your crock pot knob to low and cook 8-10 hours.

  5. Step 5

Serve hot with rice or toasted bread.

Tips & Warnings
  • Corn bread goes great on the side of any chili dish.
  • Another great additive to this dish is green peppers. Fry them up with your onions.
  • Don't cook your chili on high. Chili needs time to blend all the flavors together and time for the red pepper flakes to get spicy. Cooking it on high will sacrifice some of the flavor.
  • Chili gets hotter over time. That means your leftovers are going to taste spicier than the day you first ate them.
