• Three cups
• Partner

How to Play Hide the Penny

1. Find a penny and a partner to play with. Two or more people can play this game.

2. Decide how you will play. You can either hide the penny in one hand while you have both hands behind your back, or you can put the penny in one of three cups and shuffle them back and forth.

3. Take 15 to 30 seconds to hide the penny in your hands or in a cup. The longer you shuffle the cups or switch hands, the harder it will be for the person who is guessing to make a decision.

4. Switch roles when your partner correctly guesses where the penny is. Have your partner hide the penny so you can guess.

Tips & Warnings

• Practice shuffling the three cups while your partner is not around to make sure you don't reveal the penny.
• This game can be played for a long time, so keep score and only play until someone reaches 20 correct guesses.
