How to Make a Dr. Pepper Shot

Dr. Pepper is a wonderful soft drink with a unique flavor and a large base of everyday consumers. It is also the name of a shot that tastes exactly like the soft drink. The Dr. Pepper shot is easy to make, fun to drink, and requires very little in the way of ingredients.

Things You'll Need

• 2 oz. Amaretto
• 3 oz. Beer
• Rocks glass

Instructions

Making Your Own Dr. Pepper Shot

1. Pour the Amaretto into a rocks glass.

2. Pour the beer into the rocks glass.

3. Stir the ingredients to combine them thoroughly.

4. Consume the shot immediately in one fluid motion, not sipping but consuming the shot in one gulp.

Tips & Warnings

• If the drink doesn't taste almost identical to the Dr. Pepper soft drink then something isn't right. So, go back and try using different ratios until you get the recipe right, although the ones listed above should bear perfect results.

• Don't use Amaretto knock-offs for this shot. Although they will work, they don't taste nearly as good in the finished Dr. Pepper shot.

• Always drink in moderation and drink responsibly.

• Never drink and drive.
