How to Change Your Firefox Skin (Theme)

You can change the Mozilla Firefox theme from its lackluster default setting to a flashy and customized skin. With thousands of themes available, there's a theme available for everyone. So start customizing your browser.

Instructions

1. Launch Firefox.

2. From the "Tools" menu, select "Add-ons" from the drop-down menu. Click "Get Add-ons" from the left pane. The available add-on options load in a few seconds.

3. From the Featured Personas box, select a theme. Or click on the "See all" link for more options. In addition, you can search for a custom theme by typing a key word to the Search bar.

4. Move your mouse over a selection to preview the theme. Click the desired theme. A new window appears. Click "Add to Firefox" to change the Firefox theme.

5. Close out of Firefox. Reopen Firefox. Your new theme is applied.
