Regardless of your circumstances there is two basic ways to get more money.
Increase your income or reduce your spending. -
Step 2
You have a few choices to increase your income. One can ask for a raise, get a new or second or third job, win the lottery (just kidding)or you can sell your assets: car, house or possessions.

The second way to make more money is to reduce your spending! This is an instantaneous way to have more money! Be ruthless! Unless you are living below the poverty line, most of us can reduce our expenses! Find someone who has lived thru the depression and ask them how they managed.

Step 4
Every decision to reduce spending should give you less stress. Try being content with what we have! The more content a person is, the less money and possessions he needs. Scrutinize every area of spending. Make a game of it with your family and enjoy life!

on 1/5/2009 Concerning step 3, reducing my spending would not increase my income. My income would stay the same until I had too much money to qualify for SSI payments. Then, they would stop paying me until I spent the money they already sent me.
