We all need a little extra money, right? Everywhere I look, prices are going up! Just follow these few tips and you can give yourself a raise without really trying!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start this minute to spend cash on everything. Except for payment of bills, start only using cash. This should stop mindless spending in its tracks. Dave Ramsey on his website www.daveramsey.com says you automatically about 20% more when you pay with cash rather than a credit card! Spending cash hurts!

  2. Step 2

Stop shopping as entertainment! I don't care how much you can save. If you need every penny, you don't need a bargain! The longer one can wait between trips to the grocery store, the more the family saves!

  3. Step 3

Eat out of your pantry and your fridge for a day or two. Use up what you have. Don't throw away food. This can save serious bucks!

  4. Step 4

Save $10.00,$20.00, $50.00 automatically. Have it taken out of your account before you spend it. You might feel the pinch the first time but we are all creatures of habit and pretty soon, you won't miss it.

Tips & Warnings
  • These are pretty easy, painless ways to give yourself a raise.
