How to Hide a Tattoo at Work
Tattoos and body art are increasingly more accepted in our society. Depending on your line of work, however, they may be deemed inappropriate to the company dress code. In winter, you can hide a tattoo with long sleeves or bracelets, but the warm weather complicates matters. An easy way to keep cool and satisfy your boss is to use body makeup. Does this Spark an idea?

Covering up a tattoo doesn't mean you'll look like you never had one in the first place. You're likely to find that the finished look resembles a birth mark or an irregularity in your skin. Luckily, most people won't pay attention to this.

2
Start by cleaning and drying thoroughly the spot you want to cover. Squeeze a small amount of the body makeup onto your fingers, and spread it onto the area.

3
Wait 2 to 5 minutes, then apply another layer. Another 2 to 5 minutes later, apply a third one.
-
4
Keep repeating Step 3 in very thin layers, until you've gotten the amount of coverage you desire. Don't be tempted to layer it on, all at once, though. Doing this will cause the makeup to look goopy and uneven.

5
When the last layer has dried, finish with the same brand's setting powder, or try talcum powder if you only need to cover up the tattoo for a short time.

Tips & Warnings
Use clothing of a color that won't show a mark, should the makeup rub off a little.
You may need to reapply the setting powder frequently, depending on the weather and how much you move around.
Be very patient with the application of the makeup. The only quick fix for a tattoo is to cover it with sleeves or some type of bracelet.
