Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One glass tea light holder for each couple
  • One tea light for each holder
  • Large tulle circles to match one color of your wedding (at least 10 inch in diameter)
  • Thin white ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Thick, colorful ribbon for a decorative bow
  • Card stock - either white or a light color to match the theme (Alternative would be a pre-made charm or tag from a craft store)
  • Computer with a printer or a friend who does calligraphy
  • Small hole punch
  • Corner rounder (optional)
  1. Step 1

Print a short quote or Bible verse numerous times onto the cardstock with the names and date of the couple getting married. Then cut each into tags and punch the left-hand corner with small hole punch. (If you would like a rounded look, use the corner rounder as well). As an alternative, you can also use a pre-made charm or tag.

  2. Step 2

Place one glass tea light holder in the center of one tulle circle. Drop in the tea light.

  3. Step 3

Gather the edges of the tulle circle around the tea light, making a sprout at the top and tie with thin white ribbon.

  4. Step 4

Slide the pre-printed or written tag onto the white ribbon and tie in a small knot. Trim each end with scissors.

  5. Step 5

Tie the thick, colorful ribbon around the white ribbon and make a pretty bow.
