1
Have Dad lay down on a sheet of cardboard. Using crayons or markers, trace around your dad, getting at least his head and shoulders on the cardboard. Be sure to trace his neck.
-
2
Using large scissors or a matte knife, cut around the traced outline of your dad. Younger kids might want Dad to do this, especially if using a matte knife, which is very sharp.

-
3
Using crayons, paint, or markers, Give your dad some hair, color his eyes and give him a face.
-
4
Dress "Dad" in an old shirt and prop him against a wall. Place push pins in old ties, being careful not to get pricked.
-
5
Take turns seeing how close to Dad's neck you can get his necktie. The closest tie to Dad's neck wins. In the event of a tie on distance, the straightest tie wins.

Use plastic hook and loop tape (AKA Velcro(R)) instead of push pins, for added safety.
