Is your complexion dull and tired? Have dark spots on your skin that you want to lighten? Follow these steps to naturally and safely lighten your skin with lemon.

  • Container or spray bottle

    How to Use a Lemon to Lighten Your Skin

  1. Step 1

    Start with a fresh lemon or lemon juice. Put some lemon juice in a container or spray bottle and dilute it with an equal amount of water. You can also add honey or aloe, which will are gentle moisturizing ingredients.

  2. Step 2

    On clean skin, apply the lemon juice mixture to a test area on your neck first and rinse. If okay, then apply it to your entire face or just on dark spots. You can wash your face over the sink with the lemon mix as well.

  3. Step 3

    Rinse off completely with water. For better results, you can repeat this treatment regularly every day or week.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always dilute the lemon juice, and test it on a small area of your skin first in case of allergic reactions. To lessen the harshness of the lemon, you can mix in water along with aloe and/or honey.
  • Lemon is an acid that will make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so make sure you stay out of the direct sun afterwards and always use sunscreen. Be careful around the eyes and lips when applying lemon juice.
