Get rid of those pesky and unsightly blemishes quickly and naturally. Here are a few different and easy ways to clear your skin.

From Quick Guide: Treat Blemishes
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Toothpaste (non-gel variety)
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons warm water
  • Aloe vera
  • Ice pack
  1. Step 1

Try an ice treatment. Place a few towels wrapped ice cubes or a cold compress on the offending area to help minimize the appearance of the pimple. Do this for a few minutes, several times a day.

  2. Step 2

The age-old toothpaste remedy. Dab a pit of toothpaste (the non-gel variety) directly onto the pimple before bed at night. It will draw out the impurities and dry out the blemish.

  3. Step 3

Homemade cleanser. Create your own facial cleanser right in tour kitchen with 1/4 cup of baking soda and four tablespoons of warm water. Stir the solution vigorously and work into your skin the way you would a traditional cleanser. Rinse and repeat twice a day.

  4. Step 4

Aloe vera. Dabbing a bit of aloe vera directly onto the pimple can also help clear it up. Because aloe vera is clear, it's better to apply it to the pimple in the morning and the toothpaste at night.

Tips & Warnings
  • These are all separate techniques for getting rid of pimples naturally, but any two or more can be used together. Try a few out and choose what works best for your skin.
  • Don’t ever squeeze a pimple. It’s difficult to resist, but it could cause the bacteria to spread, spawning a larger outbreak.
