Things You'll Need:
- Razor
- Shaving cream or gel
- Scissors
- Skin moisturizer
-
Step 1
Purchase the proper kind of products. When choosing a razor, pick the ones that are specifically designed for women. Make a little sacrifice of opting for those that are of high quality rather than settling for the cheap disposable ones that are more likely to cause cuts, soreness, minor rashes and razor burns. As for the type of shaving foam, also choose the ones specially made for women. Do not use men's shaving cream or soap.
-
Step 2
Trim it short, especially for those with thick and long pubic hair. Provide the kind of scissors that are sharp but have a safety blade and a blunt tip. Clip your pubic hair as short as you can to prepare for an easy shave.
-
Step 3
Take a hot shower and observe proper cleaning of the area to be shaved to avoid pimples and skin irritations. Soak your pubic hair very well, as this will soften it promote better shaving results. If you are not planning to take a shower, you can just wet a small towel with lukewarm water and place it over the pubic area for a couple of minutes.
-
Step 4
Apply ample amount of shaving cream on the pubic area. Allow it to settle there for a few minutes to make the hair softer and easier to shave.
-
Step 5
Now start shaving. Gently pull the skin taut with one hand and carefully move the razor upward, against the direction of the hair growth, with the other hand. Do not apply too much pressure when you shave. Rinse the razor every couple of strokes to avoid clogging it.
-
Step 6
To shave on the more sensitive area of the labia, use your free hand to roll the looser skin (lips) open and carefully move the razor up along its edges and up to the upper ridge to remove those tiny hairs. Be extra careful when you do this tricky part.
-
Step 7
Rinse off the shaved area with warm water and then check for some areas you might have missed.
-
Step 8
Put some skin moisturizers like baby oil or aloe vera gel on the shaved area to keep it moisturized and protected.

on 1/7/2009 I started shaving mine several years ago and love the shaved feeling. I love the way my panties feel without all that hair and it makes oral sex so much more pleasurable. My partner loves it too.

on 12/16/2008 gardenmimi, it is necessary! but not just for your man, for yourself. i had a really bad experience one time because my pubic hair was not shaved, and all it did was scratched me and my companions' genital area up. It was very uncomfortable, so please men and women make sure you shave, so your lover can see the forest through the trees!!! LOL

on 12/4/2008 what a horrible idea! what would possess a woman to do this to herself? why not just volunteer for torture? Is this necessary to look a certain way for men?
