How to Clean a Toilet Brush

We all know cleaning the toilet brush is not our favorite thing to do while cleaning the house. But with this solution, cleaning the toilet brush is no longer a hassle.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Bucket
• Clorox bleach
• Hot water
• Dry towel

1. Get a bucket that is clean and ready to be filled with hot water and bleach.

2. Pour 10 to 15 cups of hot to boiling water inside of the bucket.

3. Add 2 cups of Clorox Bleach. Clorox Bleach is the best bleach to use when it comes to disinfecting anything.

4. Place toilet brush inside bucket of water and bleach for at least 1 hour.

5. Take toilet brush out of water and bleach, place on dry towel until completely dry. Repeat all steps when necessary.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure to have a window open when soaking toilet brush in bleach and water. Bleach can be very overwhelming if left inside a closed area.

on 10/4/2009 Thank you. I'm tired of searching for the smell in the bathroom. I found out it was the toilet brush. I didn't know what to do with the toilet brush, I don't really want to even touch it. Now I can stop throwing the toilet brushes away.
