Things You'll Need

  • Bucket
  • Clorox bleach
  • Hot water
  • Dry towel

Instructions

      Get a bucket that is clean and ready to be filled with hot water and bleach.

      Pour 10 to 15 cups of hot to boiling water inside of the bucket.

      Add 2 cups of Clorox Bleach. Clorox Bleach is the best bleach to use when it comes to disinfecting anything.

      Place toilet brush inside bucket of water and bleach for at least 1 hour.

    • 5

      Take toilet brush out of water and bleach, place on dry towel until completely dry. Repeat all steps when necessary.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to have a window open when soaking toilet brush in bleach and water. Bleach can be very overwhelming if left inside a closed area.

    Thank you. I'm tired of searching for the smell in the bathroom. I found out it was the toilet brush. I didn't know what to do with the toilet brush, I don't really want to even touch it. Now I can stop throwing the toilet brushes away.
