We all know cleaning the toilet brush is not our favorite thing to do while cleaning the house. But with this solution, cleaning the toilet brush is no longer a hassle.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bucket
  • Clorox bleach
  • Hot water
  • Dry towel
  1. Step 1

    Get a bucket that is clean and ready to be filled with hot water and bleach.

  2. Step 2

    Pour 10 to 15 cups of hot to boiling water inside of the bucket.

  3. Step 3

    Add 2 cups of Clorox Bleach. Clorox Bleach is the best bleach to use when it comes to disinfecting anything.

  4. Step 4

    Place toilet brush inside bucket of water and bleach for at least 1 hour.

  5. Step 5

    Take toilet brush out of water and bleach, place on dry towel until completely dry. Repeat all steps when necessary.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to have a window open when soaking toilet brush in bleach and water. Bleach can be very overwhelming if left inside a closed area.

on 10/4/2009 Thank you. I'm tired of searching for the smell in the bathroom. I found out it was the toilet brush. I didn't know what to do with the toilet brush, I don't really want to even touch it. Now I can stop throwing the toilet brushes away.
