Remember that sometimes, even though some of the ingredients may be "natural," it doesn't necessarily mean they are healthy. Most dried fruits, like raisins, blueberries and cranberries, contain a high amount of sugar, so watch out for "sweet" bagels.

Instead of cream cheese or jelly, have a slice of lean turkey ham or reduced-fat cheese with your favorite bagel. Besides providing you with lots of protein to give you strength throughout the day, it will keep your hunger away until lunch time.
