Things You'll Need:
- 1 lb. ground turkey (such as Jennie-O Italian seasoned)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 to 2 tbs. olive oil
- 1 can white beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can black beans
- 2 cans Italian-style diced tomatoes (such as Hunts)
- 1 tsp. each cayenne pepper, chili powder and oregano
- 1/2 tsp. cumin

Step 1
In large heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, brown turkey and onion in olive oil. There is no need to drain the turkey after browning; there's very little fat in the meat.

When meat is no longer pink, add drained beans and tomatoes and mix well.

Add seasonings and continue to cook until bubbly.

Cover with tight-fitting lid, turn heat to low and simmer for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Serve with cornbread and a salad.
