Trying to create a flawless finish on your face with makeup? When you set your foundation, your face will look perfectly polished and it will stay that way longer. Follow these steps to set your liquid foundation makeup.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Face powder with makeup puff or brush
  1. Step 1

    Apply your liquid foundation.

  2. Step 2

Choose a loose or pressed face powder that matches your skin tone. Loose powder is best, but if you don’t have it, you can substitute it with a small amount of unscented baby powder, and then go over it with pressed powder. Choose a makeup puff or makeup brush (a puff is preferable).

  3. Step 3

Dip the puff or brush into the powder. Tap off the excess powder. If you don't tap off the excess you will have a heavy look, and possibly get makeup all over your clothes.

  4. Step 4

Apply the powder gently to each section of your face with short, pressing motions. Apply with a light hand for a natural look.

  5. Step 5

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 as needed.

Tips & Warnings
  • For hygiene reasons, do not share your makeup.
  • Wash your makeup brush regularly.
  • Test new powders in a small area of your face first, in case you have sensitive skin or are allergic to any of the ingredients.
