The sandy desert featured in Aladdin

Paint the walls with a tan color. Aladdin takes place in the desert, so to help experience that aspect of the movie, you will want to surround the room with a sandy paint color. You can also do a half tone with the top half of the room a dark blue for the night sky.

      The Aladdin Palace

Hand paint the palace on the wall. The palace is a huge aspect of the movie and you can easily find pictures to paint from by looking at any Aladdin poster or movie cover. It is basically a white castle with gold dome roofs.

Carpet the room with a tan carpet to represent sand and then get a small throw rug to go over it. Try to get the throw rug to accurately represent the magic carpet from the movie and place it in the center of the room.

    • 4

Hang the carpet from the ceiling using invisible strings. Fishing line will be the most sturdy and it will showcase the carpet like it is flying. It will be a great visual but can also hold things like toys, stuffed animals, or other items.

    • 5

Purchase Aladdin merchandise to help decorate the room. The best place to find the merchandise is at an official Disney store, but you can find a lot of things from websites like Ebay or Amazon.

Stuffed characters are some of the best and easily manageable toys that can be placed around the room. The most popular characters that are featured in the movies are Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and Abu the monkey. You can also mix in villains like Jafar.

Check out flea markets, yard sales, and other places for old antique lamps. The magic lamp is a big part of the film, and finding a replica may be hard to do, but if you can it will add a lot more to the room. You can even make it so a replica of the genie comes out of the lamp.
