How to Make a 7" x 5" Card

This card is made with various Close To My Heart supplies but you can use your own.

Things You’ll Need:

• My Acrylix® Soul Mates
• 1 - 7" x 10" Colonial White CS
• 1 - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Colonial White CS
• 1 - 3 1/4" x 3" Bamboo CS
• 1 - 5 1/2" x 4" Black CS
• 1 - 7" x 5" Stripe B&T Duos™ Paper
• Black Exclusive Inks™ Pad
• Bamboo Exclusive Inks™ Marker
• 2 - Pewter Brads
• Assorted My Stickease™ Artwork
• Liquid Glass
• Micro-Tip Scissors

1. Step One
   Fold the 7" x 10" Colonial White CS in half, creating a side-fold card.
2. Step Two
   Using Black ink, stamp the largest heart in the center of the 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Colonial White CS, with the bottom tip of the heart off the edge of the CS.
3. Step Three
   Using the Bamboo marker, ink the words "joy" and "sweet" and stamp them in the bottom right corner of the 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Colonial White CS. Ink the flourish image and stamp it in the left corner of the 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Colonial White CS, so that only the center section appears on the corner.
4. Step Four
   Scissor distress all of the CS pieces and the B&T paper.
5. Step Five
   Adhere the 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Colonial White CS to the top portion of the 3 1/4" x 3" Bamboo CS, about 1/8" from the top and side edges. Roll the bottom of the Bamboo CS. Adhere the sentiment mat to the center of the 5 1/2" x 4" Black CS, about 1/2" from the top and side edges.
6. Step Six
   Using Black ink, stamp the word "LOVE" in the center of the remaining Black CS, below the sentiment mat. Attach one brad to each side of the word "LOVE."
7. Step Seven
   Adhere the 7" x 5" stripe B&T paper to the card front.
8. Step Eight
   Adhere the Black CS combo to the center of the card, about 1/2" from the top and side edges.
9. Step Nine
   Apply a thin layer of Liquid Glass to the word "LOVE," the flourish in the top left corner of the sentiment mat, and the swirls inside the heart. Set aside to dry.
