How to Draw Pretty Girls

Pretty girls are a favorite subject of artists. Famous artists throughout the centuries have been drawing and painting girls who glow with beauty. Here are a few simple tips to make any drawing of a girl fresh and pretty.

1. 

   Make the eyelashes long. Take a look at the example. Eyes with long, curled lashes look fresh and innocent. Also notice how the brow is very simple and clean. Don't make them too thin and arched but also don't make them too fluffy and hairy. Neither one of these is pretty.

2. Draw 'm' shaped mouths. Pretty girls tend to have very voluminous lips that make the shape of an 'm.' The illustration demonstrates two of these types of lips.

3. Keep noses simple. Use as few lines as possible when drawing a pretty girl's noses.

4. Keep the hair soft. Harsh bobs and stringent up-dos usually look out of place on a pretty, young girl.

• Try to draw your pretty girl with as few lines as possible to keep the drawing fresh looking.

• Avoid shadows under the eyes. Shadows age your subject.
