How to Create a Screensaver With Your Own Pictures
I recently was able to go through my parents' old pictures from a big box. I took them, scanned them, and made the picture slideshow my screensaver. My dad saw them one day, wanted to know where I got the pictures, and asked if he could get them on his computer too. Here's how it's done.

Gather your pictures, either digital pictures or regular photos. If digital photos are on the camera, connect a USB cable between the camera and computer and move the photos onto your computer in the "Pictures" folder.
-
2
If you have printed photos, scan them. Once scanned, they can also be placed into your "Pictures" folder.

Right-click your desktop and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. The Display dialog appears.

Tips & Warnings
You can save your pictures anywhere you want. They don't have to be in the "Pictures" folder. You just have to remember where you put them so you can select the folder under the "Screen saver" tab.
Make sure you have enough hard drive (disk) space before loading your pictures. To check it, click on Start, My Computer, click on your local C: drive, and look at the left hand column under Details. It will tell you how much space you have available.
Remember that anyone can see your computer screen that's in the area, so choose your content wisely!
