A good kiss has many different elements to it. There should be a mutual attraction between the two people. Butterflies in your stomach, weak knees, and your heart pounding are usually signs of attraction. A good kiss should suspend time so that it feels that it is only you and your partner in the world. You should feel a connection when you lock lips that will make you long for their kisses when they are away from you. There are many feelings that can be transferred in one kiss. These include, lust, passion, desire, and a need to be connected to the other person. So, how can you become a great kisser? Here is some advice that will help you make a simple kiss a pleasurable moment to remember!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Kiss

  1. Step 1

Apply lip balm to your lips. Nothing is worse than kissing someone that has dry, flaky lips. Using sugar as an exfoliant on your lips works when your chapstick is not close at hand. Many great products for your lips are sugar-based. Simply dab enough sugar to rub on your lips and press them together several times.

  2. Step 2

Brush teeth thoroughly. No one wants to taste bits of food in their partner's mouth. It may sound gross but it is the truth.

  3. Step 3

Make sure your breath is fresh. Spray breath freshener in your mouth. Chew on a breath mint after dinner. Everyone remembers a person with bad breath. Don't be that person.

  4. Step 4

The look in your date's eyes will usually be the signal that the moment to kiss has come. This usually is described as dreamy, dazed, romantic gaze. Make eye contact, look at her lips and smile.

  5. Step 5

Move in closer to your date. Take one hand and touch your partner's cheek softly. This is a very tender move that shows great affection.

  6. Step 6

Pucker your lips just a little bit as your lips make contact with the lips of your love interest. Open your lips slightly and enjoy the feeling of having your mouths touching.

  7. Step 7

If you want to French Kiss, slip your tongue into your date's mouth. He or she will reciprocate the same. Do not salivate into your partner's mouth. Everyone remembers a sloppy kisser. Don't be that person.

  8. Step 8

At this point your hands can wrap around your date's waist. If its more sexual in nature, your hands can graze various areas of your date's body.

  9. Step 9

There are thousands of variations of kissing such as deep, tender, soft, long, or short. This is often determined on its own. Just let the kiss play out.

Tips & Warnings
  • Becoming a good kisser takes time and practice. The more you kiss, the more skilled in the art of kissing you will be.
  • Don't put so much pressure on yourself. Kissing should be fun and not a stress-filled experience.
  • Never force a kiss. A kiss should be a natural form of affection.
  • As long as you have done the basics of kissing that were explained in steps 1 through 3, you have a good foundation for a great kiss. These steps are essential and will help keep your date happy. If you fail to do any of them, your date will remember you and not in a good way.
  • Kissing should be a pleasurable act to show affection. The more you plan it, the more nervous you will be. Some of the greatest kisses are spontaneous.
