How to Merge Documents in Microsoft Word 2003

Ever need to merge two (2) microsoft word documents together? Usually you prefer which document stays and which document gets merged. To put the second document, called the alternate, into the first document, called the master, just follow these easy steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer with Microsoft Word
Step1
Open Microsoft Word 2003. Open the ALTERNATE version of the Document. Click on TOOLS and from the drop down menu, choose COMPARE AND MERGE DOCUMENTS.
Step2
Go the the MASTER version of the Document.
Step3
Click on Merge.
