Step 1
Everyone can save a little money, and it's easy to save money on laundry & dry cleaning but depending on how serious you are about it, will depend on how much you save. At the Laundromat, instead of using the single washing machines, look into using the double or triple washers. You can save as much as .50 cents to $1.00 a load.
-
Step 2
Dryel kitFor dry cleaning, you can actually clean those special clothes using a dryer and Dryel. After you buy the initial kit (sold in supermarkets), you will only have to refill the moist towelettes. This will save you money on dry cleaning!
-
Step 3
Assign family members a towel colorUse bath towels more then once. Hang them up to dry and assign family members each their own by color. This will save energy, laundry detergent and change at the Laundromat.

on 2/28/2009 I've been wondering if Dryel was worth it, because we have a huge comforter that needs to be cleaned. Thanks for the info, it genuinely helped!
